CET, the Common Eligibility Test (समान पात्रता परीक्षा), is a qualifying test that RSSB holds before it recruits for many state government posts. It is not a job by itself: a qualifying CET score is what lets you sit the main exam for posts like Patwari, Gram Vikas Adhikari, Junior Assistant and Forester.
RSSB holds it under the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Service (Common Eligibility Test) Rules, 2022, at two levels: Senior Secondary for posts that need 12th pass, and Graduation for posts that need a degree. The board calls its official notification an advertisement, and each level has its own: 08/2026 for Senior Secondary and 09/2026 for Graduation. For CET 2026 you must be at least 18 and under 40 on 1 January 2027; the upper limit is relaxed for women and for reserved categories of Rajasthan.
